If it's raining, curl up in front of the woodburner in the sitting area and if it's cold and windy, spend time together in the games room with pool table and air hockey or snuggle up in 1 of the 3 comfortable bedrooms. And if you are lucky enough to enjoy sunny weather, then the large well-established garden has a patio, furniture and a bbq for you to make the most of your stay. Scotland also has some of britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam. Town: kelso, in the scottish borders, lies at the point where the tweed and teviot rivers meet, and makes a lovely base for a visit to both the north and south of the border. The town square is cobbled, and the streets are lined with attractive georgian architecture. Floors castle sits amid acres of parkland and offers walks, an adventure play-area and gardens just made for an afternoon stroll. Kelso is also home to impressive kelso abbey and the popular kelso races. Unsurprisingly for an area with so many rivers converging, there is excellent fishing to be enjoyed on the teviot, tweed and jed. Walking, cycling, hiking, golfing or simply touring the borders towns and villages make this area something special, whatever the time of year.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off season breaks (osb) are available at many properties in parts of the "low" and "mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a three night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods. The price for a three night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Lmbs can be booked within 1 week of the start date of the holiday.
