The cottage also has a well equipped kitchen with a dining table and a large living room with an electric fire. To the exterior of the cottage is a patio with outdoor furniture and off road parking for 2 cars. Being so well situated on the edge of the yorkshire dales national park, 3, school house is a wonderful location for a holiday exploring this part of northern england. A traditional old village made up of stone cottages and farmhouses, west witton enjoys dramatic views of penhill and its limestone scars, along with bolton castle, lush rolling countryside and the surrounding fells. The village boasts 2 pubs as well as a well stocked village shop and a pretty green. Across the valley from the village stand the imposing ruins of castle bolton, while leyburn, with its wide range of amenities and weekly market, middleham, with its norman castle, famous racing stables and pretty old market square surrounded by delightful shops, pubs and restaurants, and the picturesque aysgarth falls, are just a easy drive away.

The price for a three night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods. The price for a three night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Lmbs can be booked within 1 week of the start date of the holiday.
