Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dedicated dining area room and a sitting area with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is a rear pebbled garden with a decked area. Just a short stroll from the harbour and the beach, 51 sydenham street is a superb traditional cottage in a fabulous coastal town. Amenities: central gas heat throughout, additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting area. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, dishwasher, television with freeview, dvd, selection of dvds, games and books. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. Town: sometimes referred to as the "pearl of kent", the lively town of whitstable dates back to before the domesday book and is home to a buzzing local museum and art carousel - hosting around 6 new exhibitions each year and boasting a wonderful coffee shop. Whitstable castle dates back to the 1790s and hosts numerous events including a big may day celebration with contributions from local musicians and artists.
