The single bedroom is reasonably small and comes with a pull out stacker bed, so perhaps this property is better suited for younger families or a couple looking to enjoy a romantic break together. With pleantiful local amenities, everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday is within easy reach. Amenities: full central gas heat. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer & dryer, dishwasher, colour television, video disc player, radio/cd player etc. Small library of books/games/dvds. All fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot and highchair provided. Off road parking for one car. Shared use of patio with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub one minimum walk. Note: single room is small; use of pull out stacker bed makes space compact. Note: apartment is accessed from ct. Yard parking area via an external staircase. Region: the ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the peak district offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon 6 counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: the popular peak district towns of matlock and matlock bath have long been attracting visitors to the area. Since the spa was developed in the late 17th century, these pretty towns have been fashionable holiday spots and it isn’t hard to see why. Offering a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, the matlocks are set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the river derwent and are home to the renowned attractions of riber castle, gullivers kingdom and the peak district mining museum. The heights of abraham cable cars provide breathtaking views down the gorge whilst the park itself offers a wealth of activities for the whole family such as the nature trail, water gardens and owl maze. With so many walks and cycle trails through the spectacular scenery, the matlocks make a wonderful holiday destination.
