This beautifully restored early victorian cottage gives easy access to sherwood forest, nottingham, lincoln and the peak district.

The cottage is situated in the conservation area on the edge of a peaceful village. The cottage sleeps four guests in 2 beds (one double and two singles). There is a bed setee in the sitting area that can accommodate a further two guests. Most rooms have beams and there are internal pine shutters in the upstairs rooms. One beds is en-suite and the other has a separate bathroom. Downstairs there is a wet room which can be used by guests using the bed setee.
There is a large south facing garden and patio and a range of outbuildings. The garden is lawned with flower beds and mature trees and is perfect for relaxing. Three cars can be parked on the drive.
4 night mid week (mon - thurs) and three night weekend (fri - mon) breaks are available. Prices are: £350 - high season, £250 - mid season and £200 - low season.
the cottage is three miles from the a1 and about 18mis from the m1. The nearest railway stations are newark (12mis) and retford (eight miles) on the east coast mainline. It is situated on the edge of sherwood forest in north nottinghamshire, about 18 mis north of nottingham. The cottage is situated in the small village of walesby and is surrounded by countryside where there are many waymarked footpaths and cycleways. The national cycle network can be accessed about 5 mis away.
