There is a double and twin room, while downstairs is a wet room, kitchen, dedicated dining area room and sitting area with electric fire. Outside, parking can be found on the roadside, and there is an enclosed garden. With the whole island on the doorstep, bay cottage makes a lovely base for a family or romantic break. Amenities: storage heating throughout, additional heating from electric woodburner-effect fire in sitting area. Electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, television with freeview, dvd, books and games. Electricity inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Roadside parking. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pub two mins walk. Beach four mins walk. Note: steep, narrow stairs, stairgates do not fit. Care to be taken with young children. Region: the isle of wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500mis of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual cowes week is not to be missed. Town: gurnard is an attractive small village by the coast, just over a mile from the well known sailing resort of cowes on the isle of wight. Gurnard has a couple of shops, a pub, a cafe and restaurant, along with a sand and shingle beach. The isle of wight has great walking, golden beaches, osborne house, the needles and blackgang chine, all of which are easily accessible from gurnard.
