Set amidst meadow grass fields & footpaths with bluebell woodland nearby, the fresh air is exilerating and the views are stunning. Bramble cottage benefits from two beds and two baths, so is ideal for families and/or friends. A generous welcome pack of yorkshire produce is provided - tea, ground coffee, milk & biscuits and eggs from our own hens, a warm welcome awaits all. Bramble cottage has its own walled patio area with table & chairs, great for alfresco dining and a gated garden area 15m away for children to play with a climbing frame, swing and slide combination.
Children of all ages are welcome - we have a travel cot, high chair and stairgate available free of charge on request. Bramble cottage is just a fifteen minute drive from harrogate, a beautiful victorian spa town,with its wonderful floral displays and winter lights on the stray. A cosmopolitan, vibrant town whatever time of year you visit. There are many great restaurants for eating out. The stately home, harewood house & bird garden is almost on the doorstep on the way to leeds and so is the rhs garden, harlow carr & betty's cafe. It is just 25 mis to the historic city of york or you could take the train from our local weeton railway station with regular trains to harrogate, leeds & york if you would like to leave the car behind.

bramble cottage is situated on the border of north and west yorkshire in the lower wharfe valley, just 6mis from leeds bradford international airport. It is a green and pleasant land - actually it is beautiful! Away from city life there are rolling hills with spectacular scenery & terrific views. Small market towns like our nearest, otley (6mis), have a great heart & character.
Within the golden triangle, around harrogate, leeds & york, the area is affluent with well kept villages. Our nearest large town harrogate, just fifteen minutes drive, is a beautiful victorian spa town with great floral displays, stylish restaurants and shopping - home of the great yorkshire show, the rhs garden - harlow carr with childrens activities in the holidays & the famous bettys cafe & tearooms
as you travel a few miles north the land rises to to the yorkshire dales and the towns of leyburn & hawes - famous for its rope making and kit calverts wensleydale cheese, loved by wallace & grommit.

Right on our doorstep we have footpaths for walking, mountain biking and climbing on almsliffe crag just a 2 minute drive or fifteen minute walk from bramble cottage. Horse riding and golf just a ten minute drive away.
Being east of the pennines we are sheltered and our climate is generally mild with less than average rainfall. A car is recommended for your visit here although we have bus and rail links in the village about 2 mis away. We have ample parking in the yard outside the cottage
