Catering for business people and tourism alike braunstone house hotel combines classic features with the latest technology to include flat screen t.v's and wi-fi. Newport high street is a stones throw away including national chains such as m&s next and h&m to name but a few along with several independent boutique shops. A well renowned spa is located to the rear of the hotel offering a range of treatments. The surrounding area boasts numerous pubs which serve good quality food with a inviting atmosphere. Newport harbour a 2 minute walk away from the hotel and there is an extensive park located alongside the river medina which is no more than a ten minute walk. This is also the location of the world famous isle of wight festival held in june. Our 50 cover restaurant offers fine dining at lunch times and thursday - saturday evening where you can choose from a' la carte or set menus. Please note that we offer discounts on our two course set menu when booked at the time of your hotel reservation. Road access is extremely good as you are in the heart of the island and there is a car park opposite the hotel (parking charges apply). The mottistone suite overlooks the secluded walled garden to the rear of the hotel.

With a wide selection of shops and eateries nearby there is something for everyone. By taking a 10-15 minute walk (2 minute drive) you can be in the rural part of the island with attractions such as the famous carisbrooke castle. Many of our guest enjoy a walk along the river medina where the world famous isle of wight music festival takes place in june every year.
