The cotswolds region of the united kingdom is known for its rural tranquility, gentle hillsides, and sleepy villages, and this vacation rental is within walkable distance of 1 of the most treasured- broadway! Perfect for a family with kids, this holiday accommodation in the cotswolds is near shopping, parks, restaurants, and even the cotswold farm park, so what are you waiting for?! Plan your trip today and see all the beautiful and picturesque scenery for yourself. This cotswold stone cottage is over 150yrs old and is surrounded by ancient trees and much greenery. There is a private garden, although not fully fenced, with furniture and a nicely landscaped lawn. Off street parking is available for 2 cars through a shared driveway. First level: there is an entrance hallway, sitting area with a couch, armchairs, and a fireplace, a kitchen equipped with a cook-top, microwave, dishwasher, and dining table with chairs, and a cloakroom with a wc. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a sink, wc, and shower.
1st floor: the 1st bedroom has a double bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is one baths with a sink, toilet, shower, and bathtub. Located a two-minute walk away from the center of broadway, also referred to as the “jewel of the cotswolds,” this cottage is in close proximity to charming antique shops, pubs, and restaurants. As 1 of the most picturesque villages in the cotswolds, broadway is home to a couple of different art galleries, including the john noot art galleries and the richard hagen carousel, each located on high street. Broadway also features a 65 foot tower built in the 18th century that is the 2nd highest point in the cotswolds with views of thirteen english counties as well as a large park for picnics, a restaurant, and a children’s children's playground. Within a short driving distance away from broadway is snowshill manor (national trust), the renowned hidcote gardens, and, for the young at heart, the gwr steam trains at toddington and the cotswold farm park. For those that love to take walks, partake in the cotswold way walk, but be sure to make up your mind beforehand as to exactly which long distance path is for you!
