The cottage has 3 spacious beds; a double room with an en-suite, and 2 twin rooms. There is also a spacious kitchen with dining room, and a sitting area which is airy and inviting. The village offers a pub with cask-ales, and bulbarrow hill, 1 of dorset's highest points, is nearby, with walks and spectacular views. The jurassic coast and the abbey at milton abbas are also close by. Amenities: central gas heat on 1st floor, storage heaters on first floor, gas fire in sitting area. Electric range cooker with four ring hob, griddle, warmer and two ovens, microwave, fridge, cloths washer, dishwasher, lcd colour television with freesat, dvd, cd/radio. Library of books/ dvds/games. All fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for three cars. Enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. Covered pond. 2 well behaved dogs welcome at £10 per dog per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop three miles, pub five mins walk. Region: explore the fossils and stunning beaches of dorset’s jurassic coast, visit historic sherborne and shaftesbury, or enjoy the footpaths, country lanes and thatched-roof pubs dorset offers. Town: winterborne whitechurch is named from its seasonal stream, whose origin high on the chalk downs provides the opportunity for lovely walking with some superb views. The village is picturesque, and the pub offers cask ales, perfect for winding down after an afternoon stroll. The surrounding area has much to offer visitors, such as the benedictine abbey and thatched cottages at milton abbas, or the charming market town of dorchester, home to novelist thomas hardy, whose bockhampton birthplace is also open to the public.
