Enford house cottage is located close to stonehenge, avebury, marlborough and salisbury in the lovely wiltshire village of enford. The cottage is part of an 18th century, grade two listed manor house and is situated next to the village church and is surrounded by a picturesque thatched wall and garden and beyond that fields. The village pub, which serves good food, is two minutes walk away and the accommodation in the cottage is of a high standard with good quality bed linen and towels included. The cottage provides the perfect location for a relaxing holiday away from home and to visit numerous attractions around the south west of england. Bath, oxford and winchester are a one hour drive from the cottage. The cottage is five minutes from stonehenge the central location not only makes the cottage a great base for exploring numerous attractions but the delightful setting also makes it ideal for those who want to relax within the local area. Each bedroom in the cottage has its own bath or shower room and television/video disc player. All rooms have lovely views over the enclosed wall garden or the water meadows opposite. The garden is totally enclosed by a thatched wall making it a peaceful haven and also very child and pet friendly as the entrance gate can be closed to make it totally enclosed and safe. The cottage has a south facing patio which catches lots of the sunshine. Bbq is included. There is croquet set up in the garden and also a trampoline for children. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a large dining table. The sitting area is spacious with a television/video disc player and two large sofa's and an armchair. There is also a toy cupboard with lots of toys and games for young children.

The garden is totally enclosed so child and dog friendly. We have two local pubs both of which serve good food and one of them is a very quick walk away. Stonehenge is five minutes drive away and salisbury is twenty minutes drive in 1 direction and marlborough and avebury are twenty minutes drive in the other direction. Very central location to explore the south of england as easy to do day trips to bath, oxford, winchester and many other places
