This cottage sleeps 6 and has three beds consisting of one 2nd floor family room, one 3rd floor twin and one 3rd floor single, as well as a 1st floor bathroom and a 2nd floor shower room. The cottage also has a 1st floor fitted kitchen with breakfast area and a 1st floor sitting area with dedicated dining area room and gas fire. Outside there is roadside parking on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Fireman's rest is perfect for families who wish to explore the north york moors. Amenities: full central gas heat with additional heating from gas fire in sitting area. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, cloths washer, dishwasher, television, dvd, cd/radio, selection of books, games and dvds. Fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen inc. In rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking outside property on a 1st come, 1st served basis. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub two mins walk. Note: there is limited headroom at the doorways into the 3rd floor bedrooms. Please note: this area has not yet 'gone digital', and as such, the television only receives channels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Region: the north york moors national park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers. Town: the town of whitby offers winding streets and hidden alleys, a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and a famous abbey, reached by 199 steps.
