A perfect base to explore the surrounding area wuch as the eden project, as well as be in the middle of the bubbling town itself. Being “on the cliff” the views of the whole harbour are in 1 word stunning and with the private terrace, a glass of wine in the afternoon is a perfect way to spend the day. The interior of the cottage has been carefully refurbished to retain the traditional character of the property whilst providing a beautifully furnished and equipped base for an enjoyable holiday. Glanville house has plenty of open space and comprises a kitchen / dedicated dining area room with access to the rear terrace and sitting area with staircase to the 1st floor. Beautifully furnished with subtle lighting, it has a fireplace with open fire and plenty of seating. On a rainy day or evening, you have a super large flatscreen tv with video disc player along with a selection of dvds, games and books that are supplied. The traditional painted kitchen has granite worktops and has been comprehensively equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, cooker with ceramic hob, oven and all conceivable cookware, crockery, glassware, cookbooks etc. In our cubbyhole, we have a cloths washer and tumble drier for your use. An open staircase from the sitting area leads to the bedrooms on the 1st floor. There are two beds, both set up in a twin format with 2 single beds in each room. Both bedrooms have views of the harbour and sea the 1st bathroom is located on the 1st floor, has traditional sanitary ware, standalone bath, washbasin and w.c. The bathroom has a heated towel rail and built in lighting. A staircase then leads up to the 2nd floor where you will find 2 large double bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed and a bathroom with a double shower, basin and toilet. Glanville house has oil heating and towels and linen are provided. All electricity, wifi and heating including logs are included in the tariff. A welcome pack is available at an additional cost. We regret that pets cannot be accommodated and smoking within the house is not permitted.
