Refno:44114. Set in the heart of the shires northants 8 mis from the centre of northampton and three miles from daventry our central and easy to find location on the crossroads of the a5 and a45 junction is a distinct advantage to both tourists and business people alike.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside which is steeped in history. Weedon village itself has a long association with the british army starting with the cavalry in the early 1800's right up to the 2nd world war when the cavalry centre was a large arsenal store. The gun powder plot was hatched in ashby st ledgers only six mi. Up the a5 north and the famous picturesque althorp house is only seven miles across some of northamptonshires most stunning countryside the home of earl spencer and the site of lady diana's tribute museum. The hotel has to offer the weary traveller comforts of many kinds. We do not believe in saying that we are the most state of the art or plush of establishments but we are what we are that is we are friendly comfortable and reasonably priced serving quality home cooked dishes made from local sourced meat. In the bar area we serve anything from a sandwich or baguette or for the more hungry customer the globe grill or sirloin steak. We serve a wide selection of upto 4 well kept local real ales from hoggleys northamptonshire bitter at 4% to nobbys t'owd navigation ale at 6.1% from gilsborough not to forget mention the many frog island ales brewed in northampton itself we have also recently started selling pitstop bitter from silverstone brewery. If you are looking for a venue to hold your wedding anniversary christening or special birthday then we can cater in our restaurant for your requirements in many ways. Whether you are looking for an a la carte meal a carvery or a hot or cold buffet affair for up to 55 people or more if you wish to spill between the main restaurant and bar. Dogs are most welcome in the bar area or to stay over with you in your room as our guest.

all of our rooms are ensuite with either a bath or shower and equipped to a basic standard with quality towels soap shower gel and shampoo. A small television and hot drink making facilities are in each room. We would not describe the rooms as being the most state of the art which is reflected in our room rate but all are clean comfortable and serviced daily with fresh clean towels etc and your bed linen is changed every other day of your stay if you are staying longer than a night.

all of our rooms have ensuite bathrooms. A small portable television is in each room most of which receive sky. (please note that the sky channel will be playing what has been requested in the main bar area). Each room has a tray with hot drink making facilities a work desk and chair to sit at with a desk lamp.

the hotel is located on the main a5/a45 crossroads at weedon making it an excellent base to explore the wide selection of antique and other mixed array of shops on the high street. The peaceful village centre of weedon bec itself is just a short five minutes walk under the canal and over the river nene where you can find other little shops to explore including worth a visit the beautiful church of st peters and st pauls which has a pleasant canalside walk from the hotel which will take about 20mins.
