This cosy cottage provides a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding area. For the more active there are numerous walking and cycling opportunities. The lakes ullswater, derwentwater and bassenthwaite are nearby and only a easy drive will take you to windermere, the heart of the lake district national park. Keswick is a bustling market town renowned for its craft shops, an excellent choice of restaurants and lively pubs. In addition to the fantastic walks available, there is golf, riding and a variety of water sports available locally. Other attractions include the theatre by the lake, mirehouse historic home and garden, cars of the stars motor museum and keswick museum and art carousel.
