Homestead is an excellent holiday home set next to the owner's house in the village of coalbrookdale in shropshire. This all first level cottage sleeps upto 8 people and has three beds consisting of 1 king-size double with ensuite shower room and 2 twin bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining room, utility room, sitting area with open fire and sofa bed and a conservatory. Outside there is off road parking for three cars and a large side and rear lawned garden with patio area, furniture and bbq. Homestead is perfect for families and friends who wish to explore this area and visit many fascinating museums. Amenities: full central gas heat with additional heating from open fire in sitting area. Double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, dishwasher, television with freeview, dvd. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. In rent. Extra fuel for open fire can be purchased from the owner. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for three cars. Bike storage. Large side and rear lawned garden with patio area, furniture and bbq. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and cafe one minimum walk. Pubs and restaurants two mins walk. Note: there is an unfenced brook bordering the garden, so children must be supervised at all times. Region: a e houseman once wrote that shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as 1 of the least crowded and most quiet regions in england. Town: coalbrookdale is a village set within the world heritage site of ironbridge gorge. This lovely village is close to the ten renowned museums which celebrate the history of ironbridge world heritage site. The village is within a five minute walk to the centre of ironbridge village which offers the world famous iron bridge, pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Within driving distance is the towns of much wenlock, shrewsbury and ludlow.
