There is a first floor shower room, a kitchen with dedicated dining area area and a sitting room with woodburning stove. There is an enclosed south facing garden with lovely views of the stretton hills outside, and off road parking for 2 cars. Leasowes cottage makes a very inviting bae for couples or small families, or simply those seeking to enjoy the excellent walking and many attractions of the area. Amenities: storage heaters downstairs, additional heating from woodburning stove in sitting room and electric heaters in bedrooms. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, television with full sky package, dvd, video, cd. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. In rent. Extra wood can be purchased from owners. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for two cars. Enclosed south facing lawned garden with gravelled sitting room, furniture, bbq and views of the stretton hills. 1 dog welcome - please keep dog on lead when out of garden. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and tearooms 3 mis. Pub 1mi walk across a field or 1.5 mis by road. Region: a e houseman once wrote that shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as 1 of the least crowded and most quiet regions in england. Town: church stretton is a pretty market town in the heart of rural south shropshire. Described as “little switzerland", the town is surrounded by stunning scenery and is the major part of shropshire's hill country. The town offers a good selection of pubs, tearooms, and specialist shops, as well as other attractions including fantastic walking opportunities on the long mynd; the fascinating acton scott working farm, and the ancient stokesay castle. Shrewsbury, ironbridge, ludlow, much wenlock and bishops castle are all historic local towns with much to offer to visitors, and they are all an quick drive away from church stretton, as are the beautiful welsh borders.
