Tour the county - full of heavily beamed medieval buildings unchanged since the successful woollen trade of time gone by.
The accommodation comprises a double bedroom,a shower room, with shower which has a strong seat and steadying handles, toilet and basin.the lounge/diner is large and well equipped.it also has a sofa which converts to an extra double bed, comfy arm chairs, a table with 4 chairs, a tv with video disc player and a music centre. Free wifi is available.there is no smoking throughout the whole property.
The kitchen has all facilities-electric cooker, cloths washer, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board.
Heating is via electricity- storage radiators, electric stove fire, heated towel rail and convector heater.
A travel cot ( with bedding )and high chair are available.
Outside there is a summer house where bicycles can be stored. Chairs, tables and a barbecue are provided.
There is also access to your own part of the garden with a rotary clothes drier supplied.
All linen is provided.there is plenty of parking space.the property is suitable for people of limited mobility, having ramps to doors.there is a gastro pub in the village and a wealth of places to eat out in suffolk.
We have a an outdoor swimming pool, which guests can use in the summer months by arrangement and by signing a disclaimer.
Situated in the middle of the county, it is an ideal base for touring.
Ipswich and bury st edmunds are within easy reach. Cambridge,norwich, colchester and the coast of suffolk and norfolk are all good for days out.
Short breaks are also a possibility, min 2 nights.
