A quick drive away are the inspiring house and gardens at stourhead and the majestic longleat house with its safari park whilst a trip to glastonbury allows visitors to soak up the ancient heritage of the town. A little further away are the cathedrals of wells and salisbury along with stonehenge and even a jaunt to the somerset and dorset coasts are possible. This is a lovely area for a holiday with a difference, at any time of year.
