Town: set on the southern slopes of titterstone clee hill and surrounded by glorious rolling countryside is the remote hamlet of hope bagot. This village is close to the historic market town of ludlow – a settlement situated on the river teme which boasts nearly 500 listed buildings and original medieval street patterns. Renowned for its shopping facilities, ludlow is packed with antique shops, art and craft stores and more michelin-starred restaurants than anywhere else outside london. There are also numerous tea-rooms, pubs and inns. The town's traditional street markets are held in the shadow of the castle, and offer a range of local goods, including cheeses, fresh produce, books and crafts. The castle itself boasts fascinating architecture and is over 900 yrs old. The village is also within easy reach of church stretton, shrewsbury and hereford, as well as popular attractions such as the ironbridge gorge, the severn valley railway, berrington hall and cardingmill valley.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off season breaks (osb) are available at many properties in parts of the "low" and "mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a three night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods. The price for a three night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Lmbs can be booked within 1 week of the start date of the holiday.
