Orchard cottage is a first floor, terraced cottage set on the owner's equestrian farm in the hamlet of edlaston, just three mi. From ashbourne on the edge of the peak district national park. The cottage has two beds (one double and 1 adult bunk) and a sofa bed in the sitting area which with the addition of a family bathroom makes it suitable for up to 6 people. Also included in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dedicated dining area room and a sitting area with a wood burning stove. To the outside of the cottage is a shared lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue as well as ample off road parking. Perfect for discovering the countryside of the peak district as well as the thrills of alton towers, orchard cottage has something for all of the family. Amenities: heating from storage heaters throughout with additional heating from wood burning stove in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer and tumble dryer in shared washer and dryer area (£1 meter), television, dvd. Electricity and starter pack for wood burning stove inc. In rent. Bed linen inc. In rent. Cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Shared lawned garden with furniture and bbq. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. Shops 3 mis. Pub/restaurant 300 yards. Region: the ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the peak district offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon 6 counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: edlaston is a hamlet just three miles from the market town of ashbourne. Lying at the southern end of the peak district, ashbourne has a market place with stalls, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. For those who prefer outdoor pursuits, the dove and manifold valleys are close by and alton towers is just twenty minutes away.
