Rose cottage is a lovely, detached cottage situated in the hamlet of maesbrook, seven mi. From oswestry, and sleeps four. There is a double and a twin bedroom, a 1st floor bathroom and a first level shower room. There is also a fitted kitchen with dedicated dining area area and a sitting area with woodburner. Outside, there are enclosed garden to the front and rear, and off road parking. Rose cottage is ideal for families or a romantic escape. Amenities: radiators and hot water heated by woodburner, with additional hot water from immersion heater. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, cloths washer, use of owner’s tumble dryer by arrangement, television with freeview. All fuel, power and wood for woodburner inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road gravel parking for three cars. Shed for mountain bikes. Front and rear enclosed gardens with lawn, furniture and bbq. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 2mis, pub with restaurant 0.75mis. Note: bedrooms have low doors and sloping ceilings. Region: a e houseman once wrote that shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as 1 of the least crowded and most quiet regions in england. Town: the hamlet of maesbrook has a pub and is set on the england/wales border. Just 7 mis away is oswestry, a lovely town, designated as an area of special conservation.
