There is a bathroom on the 1st floor, and an additional basin and wc downstairs. Also downstairs is a kitchen, utility, dedicated dining area area and sitting area with gas fire. Outside, relax in the walled garden while the children play on the play equipment. There is also ample off road parking. The village in which rotherwood cottage lies has a good pub, and there are more amenities in matlock and bakewell, which, along with the superb countryside and historic houses within easy reach, makes this an ideal family retreat. Amenities: full central gas heat with additional heating from gas fire in sitting area. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, tumble dryer, dishwasher, television with freeview, dvd, selection of books, games and dvds. Fuel and power inc. In rent. There are many opportunities for some great outdoor pursuits around here, including rock climbing, cycling and walking. Chatsworth house, haddon hall, matlock bath and its cable car, gulliver’s kingdom, and the newly restored ecclesbourne valley railway are all close by.
