The associated blackboard pub and eating house serves a homemade great british menu with specials displayed on 2 giant blackboards. There is a range of draught beers including cask ale and a wine list of which we're very proud. For the summer there is an attractive beer garden; for the winter snuggle up with a drink in front of the real coal fire. Booking is advised on weekends and during holiday periods as it does get very busy with locals and tourists alike. Our games and fitness room includes pool table darts large screen television rowing machine cross trainer and free weights. Business travellers will appreciate the free broadband full room service menu and early breakfasts available from 7.15am.
