Surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty with views up to twenty miles along wenlock edge, clee hill and towards ludlow, our 18th c stone and wood framed barns are a quiet countryside haven yet only a mile from the nearest town.

Halfway between spa town church stretton, (known as little switzerland) and ludlow (regarded by many as the finest medieval town in britain) they are ideal for touring shropshire and the welsh marches border area with its wealth of ancient castles and churches. Recently converted and rated four stars by visit britain, they feature underfloor heating, woollen carpeted bedrooms and natural slate floors for that authentic country atmosphere. Guests love the home made cakes, beverages with fresh milk and fresh fruit and flowers topped off with a bottle of good wine for longer stayers. A gourmet meal delivered by our neighbouring award winning chef can await your arrival
and tempt your palate on any other day of your stay with us. Dining out is 1 of the prime attractions of this part of south shropshire with restaurants from michelin star winners to quaint english tea shops. Ironbridge world heritage site with the world's 1st iron bridge and ten museums is a 30 minute drive away and as trust corporate members we have free passes for use by all our guests. The bbctv victorian farm at acton scott is just down the road and again we offer free entrance for two. The state of the art olympics originated in the picturesque small town of much wenlock where an annual olympiad is still held each summer. Relax in our pretty cottage garden with its 2 patios, coalbrookdale furniture (manufactured in the oldest factory in the world at ironbridge) and barbecue and enjoy wonderful walks or cycle rides from right outside the gates. Once you have stayed at highgrove you will surely want to return soon as so many of our visitors do.
