The chalet is a detached cottage within the boundaries of the avon heath country park near ringwood in dorset. This cosy property has three beds a ground level twin, a king-size double and a further twin. There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower attachment, basin and wc. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen and a sitting area with woodburner and dining room. Outside is off road parking for 3 cars, and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture. With the walking and cycle trails of the park on the doorstep, as well as the visitor centre and childrens play area, the chalet makes a lovely base for a family get-away. Amenities: full oil fired central heating, additional heating from woodburner in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, colour television with freeview, video disc player, books and games. Fuel, power and fuel for woodburner inc. In rent. Bed linen inc. In rent. Off road parking for three cars. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (first level only). Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub one mile. Note: cottage is accessed via a half-mile gravelled track. Note: a338 is about 300 yards through the trees. Note: the olympic weeks (28th july to 11th august 2012) are charged at £977.00 per week (inclusive of £35 booking fee). Region: explore the fossils and stunning beaches of dorsets jurassic coast, visit historic sherborne and shaftesbury, or enjoy the footpaths, country lanes and thatched-roof pubs dorset offers. Town: avon heath country park is a lovely expanse of heathland and heather landscapes, home to plenty of wildlife including deer. The park is two miles from ringwood in dorset, and is within easy reach of bournemouth and the new forest. Inside the park are a choice of walking and cycling trails, a childrens play area, and a visitor centre with cafã©.
all prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter short breaks (wsb) are available at many properties in the "winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off season breaks (osb) are available at many properties in parts of the "low" and "mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a three night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods. The price for a three night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
