The cottage is a 350 yr old cottage in part of a building that was once owned by the family of oliver cromwell, on a six acre site near to grafham waters which is near to huntingdon in cambridgeshire. With three beds (one double, 1 twin and 1 with bunk beds) and a family bathroom, it can sleep 6 people. Also within the accommodation is an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, a dedicated dining area room and a sitting area. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Also available on site is a playground and an open air heated swimming pool which is available through the summer months. With so many facilities available on site and the fabulous cambridgeshire countryside to discover, the cottage is a wonderful family holiday cottage all year round. Amenities: full central gas heat. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, cloths washer and tumble dryer in utility, colour television with freeview, dvd. Books/dvd/games. Fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for two cars. Shared use of open air heated swimming pool, 8x22m, open when lifeguard on duty, from may to mid september. Enclosed garden with furniture and bbq. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Small onsite shop. Supermarket 8 mis, pub ten mins walk. Note: max six including infants. Region: cambridge is a delight to visit in any season: relax in its many pubs, restaurants and cafes whilst exploring the shops around the historic market place. If you want to get up, out and about, you couldn’t have picked a better county to explore. Town: the cambridgeshire village of grafham is best known for its grafham waters, a designated site of special scientific interest which cover 1500 acres. The site is also a haven for wild life, with insects, birds, mammals and amphibians. And for those who enjoy fishing, grafham waters is the king of the trout reservoirs. The site also offers picnic areas, restaurants, café, and specialist sports hire and sales shops. Within easy travelling distance you will find huntingdon, st neots, and cambridge, all offering many attractions to visit.
