The living accommodation comprises a kitchen with dedicated dining area area and a sitting room with dedicated dining area area and a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is off road parking and roadside parking available, both on a 1st come, 1st served basis. With the amenities of tideswell on the doorstep and the spa town of buxton 9mis away, the cottage makes a great base for a year-round break. Amenities: gas fired central heating with additional heating from multi-fuel stove in sitting room and woodburner-style gas stove in dining room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, dishwasher, television with freeview, dvd, ipod/ipad dock with usb port, selection of books, games and dvds. Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for one car and roadside parking available, both on 1st come, 1st served basis. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop next door, pub two mins walk. It touches upon 6 counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: tideswell is a village in the heart of the peak district national park, famous for its church dedicated to st john the baptist, known as "the cathedral of the peak". It is also home to good pubs and restaurants. Great walking is available for all abilities nearby with rugged northern peaks and gentle hills and dales in the south. Within easy reach are mam tor, castleton and the spa town of buxton.
