The little house is a cosy terraced cottage in the market town of skipton. There is a king-size double bedroom, a single bedroom and another room which has a sofabed. There is a family bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen, and a sitting area with dedicated dining area area, while outside is a small ct. Yard area with furniture, and parking can be found on the roadside. The shops, tearooms, canal and castle of the town are just a few minutes' walk from the little house, making it ideal for a year-round break. Amenities: full central gas heat. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, television with freeview, dvd, cd/radio, books and games. All fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot available on request at time of booking. Roadside parking in peaceful cul-de-sac. Small rear ct. Yard area with furniture. Sorry, no smoking. 1 well behaved pet welcome. Shops and pubs three mins walk on the way there - may take a little longer uphill on the way back. Note: please advise at the time of booking if you'd like the sofabed made up for your arrival. Region: from heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime dales await you! Where else in britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: the lovely town of skipton is often referred to as "the gateway to the dales". Close by is the cathedral city of york, the lake district and the west coast, making this an incredibly central location. Skipton itself is an old market town and still continues the tradition to this day. It also boasts an ancient castle open to the public and a beautiful old parish church. With regular steam train excursions running at the weekend, visitors can enjoy a trip on the embsay steam railway – just one mi. Away - or experience a canal trip on a traditional barge. There are also facilities for golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker.
