The cottage is an upside down, semi-detached barn conversion. The accommodation sleeps six, and has two beds, one double, 1 twin and 1 sofa bed. The plough has a delightful sun terrace and shared games room. The plough is a lovely, upside down cottage which makes the most of the wonderful countryside views. This cottage is 1 of five converted farm buildings set in over 3 acres of exquisite gardens and woodlands and is only a few minutes walk from the village of berrynarbor. The first floor includes two beds - 1 double and 1 twin, and a bathroom. The 1st floor has a private sun terrace which is perfect for relaxing, a kitchen, sitting area with electric fire and a dining room. Within the grounds, there are activities such as children's outdoor games, and within the shared games room there is table tennis and also darts. The gardens and meadows are ideal for walks. The plough is a great base for seeing the sights of devon and with the coastal towns of llfracombe, combe martin and barnstaple nearby; the plough is perfect anytime of the year. Amenities: heating from night storage heaters with additional heating from electric fire in sitting area. Electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, shared freezer, shared cloths washer & tumble dryer (at a small charge), dishwasher, colour television, video disc player, shared games room with table tennis & darts. All fuel & power inc. In rent. Bed linen & towels inc. In rent. Cot, highchair & stairgate on request. Off road parking for two cars. Bike storage. Shared lawned garden with garden furniture, private 1st floor sun terrace with garden furniture & bbq (by arrangement with owner), large, shared paddock. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Region: devon, with its peaceful country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious devonshire cream tea? Town: the beautiful, picturesque village of berrynarbor is an ideal base for exploring north devon. The village is situated at the end of sterridge valley and is within woodlands and near farms. The village has a shop and pub serving food. The narrow streets are lined with appealing cottages, gardens and floral displays. Also dotted around the village, there are over sixty flower-pot men, which can also be bought in the village workshop.
This area lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is famous for its coastal cliffs and rugged landscape. If you are a keen walker, this area is perfect. The north devon coastal path which is close to berrynarbor offers fantastic walks and wonderful scenery. Close by are the seaside towns and villages of illfracombe, combe martin, barnstaple and woolacombe. This location is a superb location all year round.

Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods. The price for a three night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
