The turnip house is a barn conversion cottage on the owners’ 250 acre farm near to the village of westhope in shropshire. The cottage can sleep 6 people and has 3 beds (one double and 2 twins) two family bathrooms. The rest of the accommodation is made up of an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, a dedicated dining area room and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and an enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. With its neighbouring cottages, the turnip house can sleep a total of thirty 6 people in a lovely rural setting. Amenities: oil central heating throughout. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, cloths washer, dishwasher, two x television with freeview, dvd. Fuel and power inc. In rent. Bed linen and towels inc. In rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for two cars. Enclosed rear patio area with furniture and bbq. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 6mis. Pub three miles. Region: a e houseman once wrote that shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as 1 of the least crowded and most quiet regions in england. Town: the scattered village of westhope is located amidst rolling farmland at the southern foot of the famous wenlock edge in hope valley. The area is home to numerous walks, rambling trails and cycle routes whilst many of shropshire's main attractions are within easy driving distance of the village itself. Visitors can enjoy church stretton - known to the victorians as little switzerland - with its antique shops and tea-rooms, in the midst of the beautiful long mynd hills and close to the acton scott historic working farm and the shropshire hills discovery centre. The world heritage site at ironbridge, attingham park, the market towns of much wenlock, shrewsbury and ludlow are all within easy reach, leaving visitors to the area spoiled for choice.

Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off season breaks (osb) are available at many properties in parts of the "low" and "mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a three night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted winter short break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Osbs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "last minute breaks" (lmb) are available at most properties throughout the "low", "mid", "high", "peak", "xmas" and "new year" periods.
