The house has been lovingly and superbly restored in july 2009 and has a five star english tourist board gold award.the front of the house boasts an attractive central arch doorway and 9 georgian style sash windows. On arrival, a inviting bright entrance hall greets you leading to the homely arrangement of rooms. The hall has beautiful original stone flagstones and stunning italian marble polish finished walls. From the hallway you’ll glimpse the 3 elegant reception rooms complete with log fires, oak floors and fine antique furniture. The drawing room and tv room have beautiful soft furnishings for comfortable living areas. Large windows give an abundance of natural light. Complete with shutters and window seats that over look the extensive garden areas, they are perfect for having a lazy afternoon for reading or enjoying the views. For moments of culinary arts, a truly 21st century kitchen awaits! A spacious, sociable kitchen complete with all state of the art facilities that include a coffee machine, wine cooler, sub zero refrigerators, tv, dishwasher, electric aga, zip tap, microwave, five burner gas hob and more. At the heart of the kitchen is an attractive granite work island that contributes to the beauty and function of this room. The dining area can seat up to sixteen guests. For gatherings above this number we have ‘the orangery’ an impressive multi functional 75 square metre state of the art space that can be used for extended dining or entertaining. Complete with a 50” flatscreen tv, dvd, bose sound system it’s a unique and versatile addition. You can seat up to 50 guests for dedicated dining area or up to 70 guests for a cocktail party. On the 1st floor of the tythe house you’ll find 4 luxurious double en-suite bedrooms. All individually designed with oak floors, beautiful fabrics, designer furniture and high-quality bathroom furnishings. Continuing up the oak staircase to the 2nd floor, there are a further 4 double en-suite bedrooms that have impressive exposed beams making each room unique yet with the same sophisticated finish that is throughout the rest of the house. There is a cloths washer and tumble dryer, flat screen tvs throughout, central heating, sky and wifi boardband internet connection. All bed linen and towels provided in the cost of hire.

leave london on the m4, drive approx 100 mis west and exit at junction seventeen onto the a429 signposted malmesbury. Approaching malmesbury, continue straight across two roundabouts. After the water tower, watch out for left-hand turning (b4014) signposted tetbury. From bristol
leave bristol on the m32. Take the m4 towards london. Exit at junction 18. Take the a46 towards stroud. Take the a433 towards tetbury and didmarton. On entering tetbury, take the b4014 signposted malmesbury and the hospital. We are just past the hospital on the left. From the north
follow the m5 to exit thirteen signposted stroud. From stroud take the a46 through nailsworth. Tetbury is clearly sign posted. By train
the nearest station is kemble, near cirencester. You can call a taxi to meet you and bring you to the folly farm. Tetbury is about 20 mis from bath, bristol, gloucester, cheltenham and swindon. The tythe barn and accommodation are situated next to tetbury hospital and only about ten minutes walk from the town on the b4014 malmesbury to tetbury road. Look out for our large distinctive sign by the roadside which reads the great tythe barn & folly farm cottages.
