The open plan living space is light and spacious and has a relaxing ambience. The kitchen is stunning and integrates seamlessly into the dining and sitting areas. The stylish, sitting room has a woodburner for cosy evenings by the fire and there is a patio and garden furniture outside with access to the woodland with its wonderful trails to explore making this property a perfect and versatile holiday retreat for family and friends. Amenities: electric central heating throughout, woodburner in sitting room. Dual fuel cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer in utility room, washer and dryer, dishwasher, two x colour tvs with freeview, video disc player, radio/cd player. Fuel, power and starter pack of logs for woodburner inc. In rent (extra logs available to purchase from owner). Bed linen & towels inc. In rent. Cot & highchair on request. Patio with furniture & brick bbq, open to woodland with pond. Off road parking for four cars. Sorry, no smoking & no pets. Shop 3mis, pub one miles alton towers twenty mins walk, five mins drive. Note: there are no gardens but guests are welcome to walk around the 30 acre woodland area. Note: check in time is 4pm. Note: no hen/stag. Region: the ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the peak district offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon 6 counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales. Town: the lovely wooded hamlet of ramshorn is only a fifteen minute walk from the entrance of alton towers, the popular theme park. There are so many attractions and activities at the park and it caters for all ages and abilities. The nearby market town of ashbourne is 12 mis away and offers a variety of shops and places to eat and has a rich history, making it an interesting town to explore. Chatsworth house and park and the halls of haddon and hardwick are all within reach as are a myriad of fascinating little towns and villages such as bakewell, hartington, tissington and many more. There are walks aplenty, golf, cycle trails and even rock climbing in this fabulous area making it a wonderful base for a family holiday.
