If you decide to stay your hosts mark & ann will ensure you have a warm welcome provide an informal atmosphere and will always be happy to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Wentworth house is situated in the tranquil rural village of aldbrough near to the church. Aldbrough is on the coast just east of hull between hornsea and withernsea and has a range of local services including three pubs. The guest house is currently rated (visit britain) as a licensed 4 star guest house. We also offer many of the facilities of a hotel if required. The distinctive house is spacious with lots of character particularly the hall and staircase and has some historical significance. The individually designed bedrooms are all ensuite have freeview tv and internet access. Our large secure car park in surrounded by landscaped gardens ideal for a picnic lunch. We are family & dog friendly. Our breakfast menu includes full english which uses locally reared pork and free range eggs all items are locally sourced including our range of jams and marmalades. The guest house is ideally located for touring east yorkshire. We are central to four nature reserves (spurn point benpton cliffs paull sands tophill low) 2 milatary museums (fort paull raf holptom) 4 stately homes (burton constable burton agnes sewerby hall and sledmere house) and of course the coatal resorts of hornsea withernsea and bridlington. In brief: 7 ensuite rooms bar & function rooms (private use only) free broadband wireless internet. Freeview digital tv in all rooms (many with dvd players) local produce used for all meals including our much appreciated breakfast menu. Large secure carpark (12 cars/ two coaches) large landscaped gardens games room with pool & table tennis convenient for hull hornsea bridlington withensea & beverley and a easy walk to the sea. the guest house has 7 letting rooms all ensuite double / twin or family rooms. On the first level all rooms (apart from the kitchens) are open to guests. The first floor rooms comprise: breakfast room (seating 16) function room (50) hall area (25) bar (30). The guest house is ideal for private functions. We have our own karaoke and disco.
the bar is always open (an honesty system applies when staff are elsewhere). Guests can use the function room for private meetings (digital projector / white board available). Functions for up to 100 persons are catered for by arrangement most requirements can be catered for.
the guest house is situaterd in a peaceful village. There are two public houses 2 convieniance stores a post office and doctors surgery within five minutes walk. A 3rd pub is on the cliff top 1 mi away.
